Preparing for a photo shoot can be worrisome. Preparing for a shoot where you expected to bear it all… now that is just plain scary!
2. Don’t be afraid to wear fitted materials
3. Show off your best asset
If you know your butt is a real head turner then by all means let’s work your ASSets. Think about what you want to flaunt when you are looking for something to wear. As your photographer, letting me know which part of your body you are most comfortable showing off and which parts are totally off limits is important. This knowledge will make your session more comfortable and in turn, you will be more radiant and beautiful!
Lingerie is very important, DO NOT WAIT until the last minute to try a buy something for your session. Get measured… make sure it fits you properly. Take your friend shopping with you (the one that will tell you the truth!). Avoid items like baby dolls with lots of flowing material, they are shapeless and make you look larger than you are. If you are worried about showing too much try a fitted one-piece. Avoid one-pieces with cutouts on the side as they are not forgiving to the folds that we all get when we bend. Never be afraid to ask me, I can help you decide what photographs well and what you may want to return to the store... (send me pictures via email or Pinterest)
5. The higher the heel…
High heels will elongate the leg making you look slimmer! Dark tights and fishnet stockings also make the legs look slimmer, especially black paired with black heels. Avoid chunky heels!
6. Don’t forget to dress your face
Makeup can make a huge difference in how you feel about your appearance. Makeup can also transition you from your everyday look to glamorous. Another perk in wearing makeup during your boudoir photo session is that when using techniques such as contouring and highlighting you can make your face appear slimmer! Say goodbye to at least 5 pounds without stepping foot into a gym, #winning. Faces By Alicia will be providing professional makeup services for all Always Images Boudoir sessions (you’re welcome).
BONUS TIP – get your nails done… your hand will be used a lot during a boudoir session make sure you have nice manicured nails.
